Petey – He is a 2-3 years old and was found hanging out at a boat ramp, more than likely dumped there. He is incredibly sweet and a big goof ball that is very affectionate and loves attention. He plays well with other dogs, is crate trained and we are working on simple commands.

Sparky – He is about 2 years old and was found hanging out at a boat ramp, more than likely dumped. He is a fun loving guy that is good with other dogs. Loves to chase his ball and give love.

Aspen – 8 month old shepherd mix. His mom was dumped when pregnant so he started out life not in the best conditions. He is a very curious boy that loves to be outside and play with his buddies.

Scooby – 8 month old lab mix. His mom was dumped when pregnant so life started out not under the best conditions,. He is very sweet and loves belly rubs and playing outside with. his buddies.

Big Mama – What can I say about Big Mama. She is an 8 year lab mix that started out on the streets of the Rio Grande. Her adopted owner passed and she finds herself needing a new home. She still has a lot spunk, does well with other dogs. She is crate trained but prefers to snuggle with her person.

Coco – 3 yr old pittie mix that does not like to pose for pictures. She is sweet and wants to give lots of hugs. Although being attacked by another dog, she is does great with other dogs. She has lots of energy and would enjoy walks and lots of play time.

Buddy – He is 8 mth old lab mix. Was found in the woods with a broken leg. He is good with other dogs and is super sweet. He is crate and house trained and is ready for adoption.

Roscoe – 4 year old pittie mix that has spent his whole life in a shelter. He is loving, gets along well with other dogs and loves to run, leap and play. He deserves a life outside a shelter.

Bella – 3 year old shepherd mix that has been returned several times due to no fault of her own. She is sweet, crate trained and loves to play with her buddy Roscoe.

JJ – Is a big goofy 3 year old that was about to be turned loose as the owner said he couldn’t keep her due to an apartment change that did not allow pets. The girl just wants to play and be loved.

Blondie – She is a 8 month old shepherd mix that we pulled from the shelter. She is loving and actually likes to give hugs. She also loves to play with her friend Buddy.

Meet Roxie. She is a 3 year old lab pointer mix that was found unable to walk. She is a tripod but was so weak and skinny, she could not stand. We are working to rebuild her strength. Despite what this sweet girl has been through, she is sweet and happy in typical lab style.

Meet Bandit. His mom was dumped off in a rural area of Alabama. . Luckily for them a couple was able to care for the mom and pups. Mom is a 30 pounds terrier mix and of course not sure about dad. He is sweet, crate trained and a real sweetheart. And the ears – really!?! About 6 months old

Meet King. A 7 year old that is the perfect blend of wise and playful. He loves a good walk, playtime and lounging next to his human on the couch. My owner was working from home and now has to go to an office all day. I’m great with kids and other dogs. I’m not shy about giving affection, and if you let me, I’ll remind you every day how much you’re loved.

Sweet, Sweet Millie. She is 1-2 yers old. Doing well with the other dogs and is warming up to us humans. She is very gentle and will be ready for adoption soon.

This is Fred. He was found wandering on the side of the road with who might be his mother Ginger. He is about 1 year old, craving attention. He will be available soon.

Meet Ginger. She was found with Fred on the side of the road. We believe she could be Fred’s mom. She has probably had many litters of puppies. She is very sweet but a little shy. She is beginning to warm up. She will be available soon.

Meet Zoe. An 8 week old little girl that was dumped and found her way up a very long driveway and underneath a car in a carport. We hope there were no others. She is gaining weight, getting her shots and learning to play with others., She will be ready for adoption soon. Not quite sure what will happen with these ears.

Miss Angel. Our little miracle. The only survivor from a litter of 8. All left in the hot Alabama sun in a crate with no foot or water. She is crate trained, house trained and plays well with younger or older dogs. And did I mention she is a real snuggle bug? She is 4 months now and ready for her forever home.

Charlie was found in my neighborhood. As skinny as he was, he was more interested in love than food. I know I say they are all sweet but Charlie the sweetest. Doesn’t bark. Not thrilled with a crate but his scars show he has not had it easy and humans have let him down. He’s a great size and will be a loyal boy to some lucky family. He is about 2 years old.
