🐾 MIRACLE UPDATE — HER PERSONALITY IS COMING OUT! August 28th ❤️
Miracle is healing beautifully! Her bandage is officially off, and now that she is feeling better, we are really starting to see her personality come out — and she has a BIG one! She is such a silly, sweet girl. ❤️
She is incredibly well-mannered and wants to go outside every time her foster siblings go out. She is doing an amazing job getting around on three legs and is already going outside to potty all by herself.
Miracle also LOVES to cuddle and has a stuffed dinosaur that has quickly become one of her favorite things. 🦖 But her absolute favorite part of the day? Climbing into the king-size bed with her foster and getting comfortable. She has definitely decided that is HER spot! 🥰
We also received more wonderful news — Miracle is heartworm negative! 🎉
This girl has come such a long way in such a short time. From everything she has been through to seeing her now — healing, playing, cuddling and letting that silly personality shine — is incredible.
She still has recovery ahead of her, but Miracle is definitely on the right track. We are so proud of this special girl and so thankful to everyone who has supported her journey. ❤️🐾

Miracle continues to improve every single day! She has settled beautifully into her foster-to-adopt home and is already making her place within the pack. She fits right in!
Her foster is excited about this new adventure with Miracle and is looking forward to watching her continue to heal, gain strength, and discover just how wonderful life can be.
While Miracle is doing amazingly well, her journey isn’t over yet. She still requires veterinary care as she recovers, and we are continuing to raise funds to help cover the medical expenses from her surgery, treatment, medications, and ongoing care.

Miracle Update ❤️🐾
Miracle has been spending the day doing exactly what she needs to do—resting, healing, and taking it easy with her foster and the other pups.
Her day has been filled with lots of naps and short potty breaks outside. The first day, she needed assistance getting outside, but today she has gotten the hang of it and is doing it on her own! Watching her adjust so quickly to life on three legs is truly amazing.
She continues to receive medication throughout the day to keep her pain under control, along with a fresh bandage change every day to help her heal.
She still has a long road of recovery ahead, but each little accomplishment is a big victory. After everything this sweet girl has been through, her strength and determination continue to amaze us.
She really is a Miracle. ❤️

** MIRACLE UPDATE: SHE’S DOING AMAZING! ❤️** August 15th
We are so happy to share some wonderful news about Miracle this morning!
She has had her medication, drank water, ate her breakfast, and even stood up to go pee! After everything this sweet girl has been through, seeing her get up on her own is such an encouraging step forward.
Miracle will be spending the weekend with one of the vet techs from Eufaula Animal Hospital, so she will be in wonderful hands and getting the care and attention she needs as she begins recovering from her amputation.
She still has a long road ahead of her, but she is already doing amazingly well. This girl is showing us just how strong she is. ❤️

Her surgery went well, and at approximately 9:00 p.m., Dr. Capps gave us the update we had all been waiting for:
“She’s doing good post operative. She’s resting for the night.”
Now Miracle begins the next part of her journey—healing, recovering and learning how to navigate life on three legs.
Through everything she has endured, one thing everyone agrees on is just how incredibly sweet she is. The entire staff at Eufaula Animal Hospital sings her praises. After everything that has happened to her, she still trusts people and wants nothing more than kindness and love.
Now it is our turn to show Miracle just how much kindness is out there.
Her surgery is only the beginning. She will need continued veterinary care, medication, follow-up visits and time to recover. Muttley Crew has committed to giving Miracle that chance.

WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY – A DOG HAS BEEN SHOT AND NEEDS OUR HELP
This is Kim, founder and director of Muttley Crew Dog Rescue here in Eufaula.
Those of you who follow Muttley Crew know that we rarely ask for money. That doesn’t mean we
don’t need it – it simply means we try our very best to make things work with what we have.
Right now, what we have is falling short.
I was just asked to help a dog who was found in a neighborhood near our elementary school after
being shot in the leg. The damage is devastating. Her leg is shattered beyond repair and will
need to be amputated.
This poor baby has already been through something no animal should ever experience. Now she
needs surgery, veterinary treatment, medication, recovery and several months of care while she
heals and learns to navigate life on three legs.
Muttley Crew desperately wants to say YES to this dog. But we cannot do it without you.
We are asking our community to rally around this baby and help us cover her surgery and ongoing
care. Her veterinary expenses will be well into the thousands of dollars, and every donation –

MIRACLE’S STORY & SURGERY UPDATE ❤️🐾
On August 12, Miracle was found lying in a yard in a neighborhood near the elementary school in Eufaula. She had suffered a serious injury and was brought to Eufaula Animal Hospital, where the veterinary team quickly realized just how badly she needed help.
They called on Muttley Crew Dog Rescue to step in and give this sweet girl a chance to survive.
Muttley Crew has helped dogs recover from several severe medical conditions, and when we received the call about Miracle, we knew we had to try.
After further examination, it was confirmed that Miracle had been shot. Eufaula Animal Control was notified once the injury was determined to be a gunshot wound. At this time, we do not know the status of that investigation.
The damage to Miracle’s leg was devastating. Her leg had been shattered beyond repair, leaving amputation as the only option.
